I don't know how this works, but it does. It's almost like it affects the capillaries under the skin. This is a clear serum-like product in consistency and immediately reduces redness and discoloration, not just around the eye area, but anywhere you apply it. I tried it around my nostrils where I have some redness, and it made the redness 100x less severe. I don't know how well it will work for those that have very dark circles under the eyes, since the discoloration around my eyes is slight and isn't very severe.
The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is that the effect is temporary and it remains rather tacky to the touch, making makeup application a bit harder as foundation has a tendency to cling to it.
It's definitely worth giving it a shot though if you have discoloration around the eyes or anywhere else. I'm still playing around with it and perhaps I haven't found the best method of application for me yet.
It doesn't make me oily or break me out, and it doesn't burn or irritate my skin.
All in all, I think this is decent product and it does exactly what it claims to do.
