Review of a Folding Chess Board

This is a chess board that I gave to a boy on his 13th birthday. The board, when open, measures 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 7/8". Folded, the board is 10 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 1 3/4". The squares are 1 1/8" x 1 1/8". The pawns are a hair over an inch tall and the kings are slightly over 2 1/8" tall. Each piece has a felted bottom and the bottoms of the box are felt-lined. The pieces come in two zip-lock plastic bags inside the box and the pieces easily fit inside the box, so putting the pieces away is effortless. The box has brass colored hinges held in place with small Philips head screws, and the catch that keeps the box closed is also brass colored and attached with screws. The clasp on the sample chess set I received to review holds the box shut tightly; there is no chance the box will accidentally open. It is a very nice set for the price!

COMPLETE SET WITH ALL PIECES - This, mini chess set is about 30 percent smaller than a tournament standard size, making it the best size to take on the road, stash in a drawer at home, or give as a gift! Classic pieces are hand-stained wood - not plastic, metal or stone - with felt bottoms. More modern looking than Staunton style. Sizes range from Pawns just over 1 inch tall with a .625 inch diameter base to the King which is just over 2 inches tall with a .75 inch base.

I have bought a lot of anti aging products, and this is one of the best. This product does a very good job. It feels light when applied & doesn't take very much. It doesn't take long to absorb, doesn't leave a residue & absorbs completely. It works fine under my makeup. It works very well with my skin, it has made a difference, a noticeable difference in my fine lines & skin tone and texture without aggravating my blemishes or causing new ones.

The scent is citrus, which I associate with a nice clean, fresh smell. It dispenses nicely from a pump. The instructions call for 1-2 pumps, which I find is more than enough for my face & neck area. The ingredients are fantastic. The serum is smooth and it feels nutrient rich. It certainly feels like it is composed of botanicals, essential oils, and vitamins. It glides on easily and absorbs so quickly!

Directions
Apply 1-2 pumps evenly to face and neck each evening after cleansing skin thoroughly. After absorption, follow with moisturizer and eye product of choice.

Review of Professional Stainless Steel Salt & Pepper

Good salt and pepper dispensers. It was difficult for me to find the proper kind of salt to put into the dispenser. I don't live near a store that sells that, but eventually I got a ride and got them. This is a high quality set that is very useful in use in any kitchen. It's so nice, because you can adjust how coarse or fine you want it to be. You adjust this with the knob in the middle of the area under the cap. It's a bit difficult to see, but there are dots of increasing size on that center black knob. Turn it toward the bigger dots (counter-clockwise) for a coarser grind, and turn it toward the smaller dots (clockwise) for a finer grind. This grinder is able to grind the finest of all the similar products we've tried. This provides more even seasoning throughout a dish.The combination of glass and stainless steel provides a great look for the kitchen and the dining table. .

This is a retelling of the classic folktale; the Swan Princess.It is a short, well written and enjoyable book. The story is about love, duty, patience and evil. Every element is tested through these characters, making them go far and beyond for the things and people they cherish.The MC Princess Aowyn is a favorite to the Queen;her mother while her six brothers are in favor of the King. But when her dear mother dies, the young princess vows to protect her family at all cost.She is young but very strong, patient and bright. Love conquers all, is a quote that is well played through out this fairy-tale.
It was an enjoyable light read to pass your day, It was a well written book.
