This scale works great. It's very easy to use and there really is not much to it...making it simple and appealing to use. As soon as I opened this, I loved the overall design. The handles are sturdy and it has a nice base to keep colander part raised up. It is a bit smaller, than my previous strainer, but the quality is so much better. The opening is just under 9 inches and it is about 4.5 inches tall and 3.5 inches deep (the base adds to the height). Colander is made with 18/10 stainless steel, so is light weight, but still durable. However, I was expecting, based on the description for this to be a bit heavier than it is. I am not quite sure it is "indestructible", but it seems like it will last a good while. Overall, for the price, this is a nice colander. Plus, it looks great in any kitchen. I actually used the handles to hang this up, so never have to go digging for it.

This product has many different functions. It is great for small tasks in the kitchen when you do not want to get down your large electric food processor. The product cleans easily and works well. I have used the mandolin for slicing a large variety of vegetables and I have used the processor itself for scrambling eggs and making crepe batter along with making some homemade chunky salsa and I haven't had a single problem with it. The blades are super sharp and have a wide cutting path. I attached a video of me peeling a zucchini. The blade cut through the zucchini like magic. Since the blades are so sharp you have to be really careful handling the blades so you don't cut yourself, especially when changing the blades. You get four interchange blades that each do a different job. The blades are made from a high quality food grade stainless steel, so you can just throw them in the dishwasher if you don't want to hand wash them. A cleaning brush is also included.

After peeling my zucchini i changed the blade to the slicing blade and cut long strips of the zucchini to use for my gluten-free zucchini noodles.

Instructions:

1. Remove the bowl lid.
2. Pour your popcorn kernels.
3. Add salt according to your taste

I love this popcorn popper! I received it in the mail yesterday and used it for the first time tonight. It was really easy to use, thank goodness! I just put some popcorn in it, put the lid on it, and put it in the microwave. The microwave is very old, so I put it on 5 minutes and stood there with it so I could listen for the slowing pop. Within 4 minutes I was able to take it out of the microwave. The handles are cooler than the rest of the bowl, but they do still get too warm for a child to take out of the microwave. I love that I can push the bottom of this bowl in and flatten it a little bit to make it easy to store. The popcorn tasted like air popped popcorn from when I was a kid. That was awesome, but I don't like that my salt and sprinkle on butter flavoring did not actually stick to my popcorn at all. However, that means I am actually eating healthier popcorn. Ditch the oils and chemical laden microwave bags for a healthier alternative.

1. Chocolate Skillet Cake

4 tablespoons cacao powder (1oz)

2 tablespoons hemp protein powder (1/2oz)

1 tablespoon coconut sugar

1 teaspoon peppermint extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl place cocoa, hemp protein, sea salt, stevia if using, coconut sugar. Mix together. Next, add in coconut oil, peppermint essential oil or extract, and avocado puree. Continue to mix together. The batter will be a little thick. Spoon brownie batter into a coconut oil greased 5 inch cast iron skillet. Bake for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and top with ice cream of choice. Or eat plain!

2. Banana Hemp Protein Waffles

1 banana

2 whole eggs

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon coconut oil

2-3 tablespoon hemp protein powder

1 tablespoon gelatin (optional)

Directions

Blend all ingredients in a blender. Pour batter into waffle maker. Or make pancakes. Top with maple syrup. Makes 2 large waffles serves 1

3. Pumpkin Bars

2 eggs

1/4 cup coconut oil

3/4 cup pumpkin puree (6 oz)

2 tablespoons pumpkin seed butter

1/3 coconut sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon allspice

1/2 cup hemp protein powder (2 oz)

1/4 cup arrowroot (1 oz)

1/4 cup coconut flour (1 oz)

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Place pumpkin puree, eggs, and pumpkin seed butter in a bowl and mix together. Add in coconut sugar, spices, baking soda, and flours into the bowl. Mix together. Add in coconut oil. Stir until blended. Grease a 8 in x 8 in square pan with coconut oil. Spread pumpkin bar batter into a pan. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes. Let cool.

I'm not the most coordinated person on earth so the fact that I was able to use it successfully on my first try is pretty impressive. It works well and, with practice, creates beautiful watermelon slices. I'm a fan. Wonderful device for the summer.

I myself have always loved homemade popsicles and have tried dozens of recipes over the years but this time, for my son, I simply used regular yogurt for a healthier option and spooned it into the molds leaving a bit of space at the top and then froze them.

This morning I pulled out the popsicles and ran a little warm water (not hot) over each side of the mold and the yogurt pop slid right out in a perfectly oval shaped popsicle.

So quick, so easy, healthy and much more mess free than eating yogurt with a spoon. There are hundreds of popsicle recipes on Pinterest if you are looking for some ideas. Many adults are now making “Boozy Pops” for an unusual dessert in hot weather. My friends love to do this with a crowd of young adults while entertaining after grilling outside.
